Estimating the weight of your horse is very important to determine the exact ration and also to administer the good amount of treatment.
Some other parameters are also important, such as the genetic type, race, sex, age, stage of physiological development, duration and intensity of work, but weight is the primary factor in determining the correct ration. Height at the withers (HW) and chest measurement (CM) allows a more accurate weight evaluation.
The accuracy is of more or less 20kg. To obtain the exact weight of your horse, use an appropriate scale.
