The Royal Horse ambassadors

Discover the Royal Horse Ambassadors, who have trusted us for many years throughout the world. Whatever their discipline and the nutritional needs of their horses, Royal Horse accompanies the best riders in endurance, dressage, eventing, jumping and even western riding!

Indeed, dressage and jumping are very demanding disciplines for riders and horses. A dressage or jumping horse is a real athlete. It has a highly developed musculature that allows it to perform all the efforts that are required of it. The body of a dressage or jumping horse is very demanding and requires a well-balanced supply of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. His diet must allow him to sustain intense and regular training sessions, and to provide a sustained effort of a few minutes during a competition.

Many great French jumping riders trust us to feed their horses. Among them, Michel Robert, several times Olympic medalist among others, but also Philippe Rozier, with an equally extensive record of success. They have been feeding their horses with H250 or H350 for a long time. Roger-Yves Bost and Patrice Delaveau, other French show jumping stars, use the same feed for their horses. Moreover, Royal Horse is proud to count among its ambassadors the rider Soukaina Ouaddar, international Moroccan rider. Her favorite feed for her horses is H250.

Eventing (CCE) is a discipline that requires a slightly different type of effort for competition horses. Eventing competitions take place over several days, with 3 different disciplines. Among them, the cross-country event requires the horse to ride a course with challenging natural obstacles, at a very fast pace and over a long distance. Nicolas Touzaint, international CCE rider, mainly uses H350 (flaked feed), coupled with H200 pellets. According to him, this mix is ideal to support the intense effort his horses have to produce, but also to help them recover. Mathieu Lemoine, Olympic rider of the French CCE team, also uses the same combination. It is composed of the H200 for daily use, and the H250 or H350 as a complement for the competition phases.

Endurance is another very demanding discipline for competition horses. It requires a feed that can provide enough energy to last over very long distances. In this discipline, Royal Horse accompanies Jack Bégaud. Veterinarian passionate of horse riding since always, he dedicates himself today entirely to the competition and to the breeding of endurance horses. His favorite food is H350.

Beyond the “classic” disciplines, Royal Horse accompanies international riders in western riding. Franck Perret, French champion of the discipline, uses Royal Horse feeds for the training and preparation of his horses. In South America, Royal Horse also accompanies Guto Freire and Gabriel Marty, Brazilian riders who compete in competitions where the needs of horses are like Western riding, “Freio de Ouro”.
